PROGRAM MANAGER - ATHLETICS & RECREATION
FULL TIME opportunity: 40 Hours
Salary is commensurate with experience.
Teacher assistant must be able to commit to a minimum of two consistent days per week but may work up to four days.
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Program Manager – Recreation will organize and oversee all youth and adult sporting and recreation events at the Hub. They will work within the community to identify needs and build programs around them. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Creating and implementing an annual sports and recreation plan

Develop & manage program budgets for sports & recreation programming

Research funding and grant opportunities for recreational activities

Collaborate with other Tulsa-area nonprofits and sport leagues

Foster relationships with corporate sponsors, schools and donors

Create curriculum for sporting and recreation programs

Train coaches and volunteers
QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent computer skills: proficiency using Microsoft Office Tools and CRM database

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a small office

Ability to effectively work in a team-oriented environment

Excellent communication skills including speaking to large groups and ability to write clearly

Ability to lift over 20 lbs.
EXPERIENCE

4-year degree is required or relevant work experience in program management

2 years of work experience (related internship or volunteerism could replace)

Nonprofit experience is a plus
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Candidate must be able to work flexible hours. This position will oversee sports programming that extends into the evenings and weekends. The right candidate will share a passion for underserved communities in Tulsa.
