PROGRAM COORDINATOR

FULL-time opportunity: 40 hrs/week, Monday - Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our after-school program continues to grow and evolve, The Common Good is looking for a detail-oriented individual to manage the day-to-day operations of the program. Ideal candidates will have exceptional organizational skills and a passion to work with underserved communities.

ADDITIONAL NOTES: 

This is a full-time position that works flexible hours throughout the week. The Common Good is in need of an employee who possesses an entrepreneurial mindset to help us grow and add relevant educational programming. This employee will often work irregular hours including weeknights until 6:30PM.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates degree preferred or relative experience

  • Knowledge of inventory management

  • Proven experience in working with children

  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

  • Competency in Microsoft Office

  • Must have received the completed COVID-19 vaccination by date of hire to be considered. Proof of vaccination required. Legally recognized exemptions regarding vaccination status will be considered.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Be the primary point of contact if teachers are needing assistance

• Support the program manager in the collection and input of data

• Manage inventory and supplies

• Troubleshoot issues related to teacher schedules and child behavior

• Communicate upcoming events and schedules to parents/guardians of students

• Organize activities and curriculums for students during after-school program
